Abstract (en)
The centrally positioned front seat armrest (1) is used in a road vehicle. It is mounted on a base or support (11) fastened to the vehicle bodywork. It has a headpiece (9) which may swivel about a first horizontal axis (13) transverse to the vehicle centerline. A second swivel joint on the headpiece allows rotation of the armrest to bring to the top an armrest covering (3) or receptacles (5) for drinks cups etc.

Es wird eine Mittelarmlehne (1) für die Vordersitze eines Kraftfahrzeugs, die um eine in Querrichtung zur Fahrzeuglängsachse verlaufende erste Achse (13) zwischen einer zumindest im Wesentlichen waagrechten, vorderen Gebrauchsstellung und einer zumindest im Wesentlichen waagrechten, hinteren Gebrauchsstellung schwenkbar ist, vorgeschlagen. Die Mittelarmlehne (1) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass sie auch um eine in senkrechter Richtung zur ersten Achse (13) verlaufende zweite Achse (15) schwenkbar ist. <IMAGE>
