Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1510645A2] The frame member (1) is rectangular, and is fastened to the edge of a wall (W) via a broad central sealing strip (2) and narrow edge sealing strips (3). There are two rectangular grooves side-by-side in the side of the frame member facing away from the wall. The grooves accommodate steel strips (5) which grip the edge of a glass pane (4) via sealing strips (6). A further sealing strip (7) is placed between the edge of the pane and the wooden frame member.
