[origin: EP1510646A1] The roll front (1) for cupboard furniture consists of a number of slats (2) interconnected by joint elements (3) which each consist of two retaining components fastened on opposite lying slats and a hinge component of elastic material interconnecting the two retaining components. The joint elements each consist of profiled sections of plastic extruded profiles, and the hinge components of a flexible plastic are extruded in film hinge fashion onto the two retaining components which are made of a rigid plastic.
