Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1511057A1] Two end caps (5) of electrically conductive material fit on both ends of a tube (4) so that an electrical contact is produced for each melting conductor (2). On one of the tube's ends in an intermediate area between an end cap's base and the tube's front side and in part of the tube's interior (3) adjacent to this base there is a sealing body (7) made from compressible plastic able to creep. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a fusible cutout component.
