Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03104574A1] Disclosed is a toilet system (1) comprising a toilet bowl (2) and a device (3) for flushing the toilet bowl (2) with flushing water and for sucking waste water (5) off the toilet bowl (2). Said device (3) is embodied as a unit which dispenses water (19) under pressure during flushing while sucking in an essentially simultaneous manner waste water (5) off the toilet bowl (2). Preferably, the inventive device (3) is provided with a cylinder (6) comprising a pressure chamber (A) for flushing water and a suction chamber (B) for drawing off waste water (5). The cylinder (6) comprises a displaceable piston (4) acting as a pressure piston which dispenses flushing water (19) to the toilet bowl (2) under pressure via flushing nozzles (13). Said piston (4) is also used as a sucking piston drawing off waste water (5) from the toilet bowl when flushing water (19) is dispensed. The inventive toilet system (1) uses little flushing water and can be built in a compact manner.
