Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1512472A2] In a process to manufacture a form or core plug for casting from a mixture of sand or other suitable material and a water-soluble and/or binding agent containing crystal water. The mixture is shot by a plunger (2) through a plate (5) outlet (7) in a form or plug tool (8) prior to hardening. The outlet (7) is kept moist between shots by fluid to prevent the accumulation of sand or other residues around the plate outlet. Also claimed is a commensurate assembly.
