[origin: EP1512777A1] The block comprises a central (2) and two outer (3, 4) sections. The feed channels (5, 6) for the two kinds of polymer run for some distance near the respective polymer entry (20) entirely through their respective outer sections. The central section (2) has insulating recesses (11) spaced across the entire width of the block. The outer sections (3, 4) also have recesses (12, 13) that can accommodate cartridge heaters.
