[origin: WO2004067094A1] The invention relates to a respiration filter comprising a filter housing (2) which conically contracts from the gas inlet side to the gas outlet side, and in which a separately produced fixed moulded filter body (3) having the same conicity is pressed by means of a screw ring (7) screwed onto the gas inlet side of the filter housing and provided with a compression ring (8) oriented towards the inside of the filter housing and supported on the moulded filter body, in such a way that it can be detached, but is sealed at the edge. The moulded filter body is surrounded by an air-permeable, thin envelope (5). The detachable connection sealed at the edge enables the moulded body to be replaced and the filter housing to be reused.
