Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1514642A2] The grinding machine has an oscillating tool carrier beam (1) swiveling on a first pivot (11) and moved by a pin (11') on a rotating wheel (10'). The grinding band (2) with the support band passes over a drive pulley (6) on the end of the beam remote from the workpiece (3). The bands pass over tensioning wheels (7,13) and go round small guide rollers (9) to form a loop going round a wide arc (alpha) of the rotating workpiece. The small guide rollers are held on the ends of curved struts (14).
