[origin: EP1514835A1] The assembly to carry bottles (11) through workstations (6) is a carousel turntable (1) rotating around a vertical axis, which brings them through stations for cleaning, sterilizing, filling, sealing, and the like. The workstation has an enclosed zone (5) as a ring channel, where the bottle top is held within a specific atmosphere. The enclosed zone is composed of a rotating section (4) and a static shrouding (3), with an exchangeable bottle holder. An inflow jet (7) delivers an inert gas into the ring channel e.g. sterile air, CO2, etc.
