Abstract (en)
A safety catch for an operator on a ladder or similar high working positions, has a slider (1) moving along a guide rail (B) fitted on the inside with locking tags (A). A locking lever (3) is pivot mounted (2) about its center of inertia inside the slider and has a roller (4) at the upper end and a braking profile at the lower end. The locking end is held in the retracted setting by a spring. The inertia of the spring is greater than that of the catch and is set to operate the locking action above a set downward speed of the slider. The locking action is failsafe with the locking catch in the locking position if the return spring breaks.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine zwangsgeführte Fangvorrichtung zur Verhinderung des Absturzes einer Person von einer Leiter, Gitterkonstruktion oder dergleichen, wobei die Person durch einen Auffanggurt an der Fangvorrichtung gesichert ist. Bei einem Absturz rastet eine direkt oder indirekt zwangsgeführte Wippe in Form einer Sperrklinke 3, welche um eine Schwenkachse 2 kippt, aufgrund der Trägheit ihrer Masse in ein definiertes Raster von Fangrasten ein und stoppt auf solche Weise die Abwärtsbewegung ab einer bestimmten Geschwindigkeit. Derartige Fangvorrichtungen weisen einen gleit- oder auch rollengelagerten Schlitten mit einem Läufergehäuse 1 auf, der axial an einer Führungsschiene B geführt wird. Diese Führungsschiene 1 kann sowohl frei, als auch an einer bereits vorhandenen Leiter oder Gitterkonstruktion, beziehungsweise in ein Leitersystem integriert, einbezogen sein. <IMAGE>
