Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1515303A1] The transducer has a mass ring (54) arranged at an edge portion of a membrane (48) for dampening of undesirable resonances. The ring is separated from the membrane and joined to both, the edge portion of the membrane and the inside of the housing (52) to provide a transducer with the smallest possible dimensions. A ring-shaped dampening unit (64) is attached to the inside of the housing and arranged close to the ring.
