Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03103753A1] The invention relates to a device for dosing a substance, comprising at least one rotating element (1) and at least one encoding element (b, c, d), which is assigned to said element (1) and with which the rotational position of the rotating element (1) can be identified. The inventive device is characterized by having at least one reference element (6), which generates a reference signal only at predetermined positions or in the event of changes in position. The invention also relates to a method for determining the rotational position of a rotating element (1), which serves to set a dose, whereby the rotational position is determined by an encoding that can be read out or evaluated only when a reference signal is generated at predetermined rotational positions or in the event of position transitions.
