Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004001163A1] The invention relates to a connecting and deflecting element for pneumatic components, made of a hollow body (1) having two caps (5), a compression bar (2) which is arranged between two node elements (33) to which the pull strips (4, 11) are fixed. The pull strips (4, 11) rotate around the hollow body (1) in the opposite direction of the screw motion and intersect on a surface line (6) opposite the compression bar (2) at an intersection point (7). The inventive connecting and deflection element is applied to the intersection point (7). It is made of a base plate (8) which is countersink (9). The pull strips (4, 11) are arranged in said countersink in such a manner that they no longer intersect each other. The point of intersection of the line of application of the pulling forces, represented by chain-dotted lines (10), coincides essentially but not always with the intersection point (7). Four threads (13) are provided in the base plate (8) for the cover.
