Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1516840A1] The reel-spool storage station (1) has a winding reel (3) with a hub (4) wound with a material web, whereby the winding reel is driven by a drive unit. A winding spindle (6) is fastened on one side and in the roll-off region of the winding reel is installed at an angle (alpha ) to the longitudinal axis of the winding reel and upon which the material web (5) is wound in spiral form from the winding reel by a winding unit (8). The aforesaid angle lies within the range of preferably 5 to 45[deg].
