Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1516983A1] The lock has a housing (1) and key operated cylinders (4,5) whose rotation is inhibited by a bolt (10) normally engaging a recess (11) in the cylinder. A piezoelectric element (15) in a cavity (13) causes the bolt to withdraw when electrically activated.
