Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004003524A1] The invention relates to a device for the photometric determination of the content of a chemical substance in an analyte, with a lamp (1), emitting electromagnetic radiation in a given wavelength range, a first receiver unit (6), in an analytical circuit (MK), which receives radiation transmitted by the analyte at a first wavelength, a second receiver (7), in a reference circuit (RK), which receives radiation transmitted by the analyte at a second wavelength and a regulation/analytical unit (8) which, according to prevailing conditions in the measuring locality, either extracts the intensity values determined by the analytical circuit (MK) or by the reference circuit (RK), in order to regulate the intensity of the light emitted by the lamp (1) such that the measured values as provided are to a large extent plausible.
