[origin: EP1518472A1] The material for the jacket is assembled of a watertight and strong outer layer and an inner layer designed as a functional membrane. Moisture is guided from inside the jacket through the membrane resistant against wind acting on its outer surface. The outer layer is fitted with several watertight zip fasteners located at the appropriate spots to be opened for ventilation (1) if required. The cool air guided across the membrane (B) has no negative cooling effect on the user.
