Fire-extinguishing equipment with a feeder pipe (10) for quenching water , from which emerge at least one low pressure quenching water pipe (24) and one high pressure quenching water pipe (48), with a low pressure pump (20) in this low pressure quenching water pipe (24) and a high pressure pump (46) in this high pressure quenching water pipe (48), and with mixing apparatus for the introduction of foaming agent into both the quenching water pipes (24,48), characterised in that a mixing unit (38) for the controlled introduction of foaming agent is provided in the low pressure quenching water pipe (24) and that a connecting pipe (44) branches off from the low pressure quenching water pipe (24) downstream of the mixing unit (38) which enters the high pressure pipe (48) upstream of the high pressure pump (46). <IMAGE>
