Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1518819A2] The multifunction lever for an industrial truck has a gripping element (12) movably mounted on a base component (10), and a sensor to record the movements of the gripping element relative to the base component. The gripping element is movable rotationally around at least two and possibly three coordinate axes and translationally in the direction of at least one coordinate axis and preferably in the direction of three coordinate axes. The base component is a part of the vehicle's armrest (11). An independent claim is included for an operating unit for an industrial truck which has the aforesaid multifunction lever.
