[origin: EP1518963A1] A strip shaped damping profile (1) for dynamically loaded profiles, esp rails (7) and/or foot plates (14), consists of an elastic material which is insulated against sound and/or electricity. The profile has longitudinal parallel slots (2) which have a cross section that narrows towards the open side. The profile consists of a vulcanised rubber mixture, eg based on styrol butadiene rubber and/or natural rubber. The profile has longitudinal parallel slots (2) which have a cross section that narrows towards the open side.
