[origin: DE10344718B3] The compressor has a turbine wheel housing (1) containing a rotary turbine wheel (3) and provided with air intake and air discharge connections (6,7). The turbine wheel housing is formed from 2 cooperating identical housing shells (2) joined together via planar separation surfaces at right angles to the rotation axis of the turbine wheel, enclosed by a peripheral ring (28) which centres the housing shells relative to one another, fitting into a channel (27) defined by an annular slot (26) adjacent the separation surface of each housing shell.
