Abstract (en)
The side channel compressor has an annular impeller casing (1) provided with an air suction and air outlet connector. The impeller casing has a through-channel (12) which extends in an axial direction from one side of the casing to the opposite side and located in the region between the air suction connector and air outlet connector. The impeller casing is constructed in double shell form, with the shells (2) the same in design and abutting and sealed along a parting plane extending at right angles to the axis of the impeller.

Ein Seitenkanalverdichter mit einem ringförmigen Laufradgehäuse (1), das ein in ihm drehbar gelagertes Laufrad (3) umschließt und mit einem Luftansaug- und einem Luftauslassstutzen (6,7) versehen ist, hat ein Laufradgehäuse, das einen durchgehenden Kanal (12) aufweist, der sich in Axialrichtung von einer Gehäuseseite zu der gegenüberliegenden Gehäuseseite erstreckt.
