Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1519111A1] A vacuum ventilator for cleaning a smoke flue (1) comprises a two-ended (6) lead flue (4) connected to a motor-driven ventilator to move gas and foreign material and a plate (2) to seal the front end of the flue that has an opening much larger than the entrance to the flue. The sealing surface is flexible and adaptable to different flues. An independent claim is also included for a cleaning and sweeping process using the above.
