Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1519457A1] The system has an adaptor (100) including support with a cavity (102) to receive an instrument. The instrument is controlled by a control unit having a contact unit. The cavity has housing (110) to receive another contact unit. The housing is dimensioned to receive the control unit such that the contact units are brought into contact, when the instrument is placed in the cavity. The adaptor establishes an electrical connection with the portable electronic instrument and transmits electrical signals.
