[origin: WO2004000525A1] To produce multi-component moulded plastic parts by injection moulding, at least one component is manufactured using a compounding method in the mould. According to the invention, a reversing plate machine with two working regions (A, B) is used to produce multi-component parts comprising cores or layers of fibrous tissue or nonwoven material. The fibrous material is shaped into a preform in a mould cavity in the working area A and a preform that has been produced in a previous cycle is simultaneously encapsulated in or injected with plastic in working region B. The reversing plate (6) is then rotated about its axis, transporting the preform from working region A into working region B, the finished moulded plastic part is removed and the production cycle is repeated from the beginning. The device is optionally provided with a second injection moulding unit (I), which is used if necessary to inject an additive such as a curing agent, binding agent or similar into the cavity during the shaping of the preform.
