Abstract (en)
The invention is about a variable profile wing sail system to be used on sailboats or windsurfs, whose profile is variable by rotating the mast (12), made enbloc with the two booms, to which the bars (42) of the two sail cloths (36) are coupled by pivoting on vertically movable sliding shoes (48, 48'), in order to allow that the sail is hoisted, lowered and reefed using traditional halyards. Advantageously, the variable profile wing sail system (10) comprises an upper anti-inclination topsail (94), having a similar variable profile and being independently movable with respect to the main sail. <IMAGE>
