[origin: EP1520824A2] The assembly to wind cross wound bobbins has a centering plate (4) with at least one suction channel (4.1) extending radially inwards from the circumference. The channel opens into a hollow axis (2), and passes outwards through the bobbin frame arm (1). A suction head (A) can be applied in an axial direction, fitted with a yarn clamp (17,18) and a yarn cutting blade (31).
