Die Erfindung betrifft Verfahren, Herstellungsvorrichtung und Kerzenset zum individuellen (do-it-yourself) Herstellen von Kerzen aus partikelförmigem Brennmaterial. Ein Docht wird mit seitlichem Spiel in ein Dochtsetzerrohr eingebracht, wobei eines der Dochtenden vor oder nach dem Einbringen des Dochtes in das Dochtsetzerrohr mit einem Dochtrückhalter versehen wird. Das den Docht aufnehmende Dochtsetzerrohr wird vor oder nach dem Befüllen eines Kerzenaufnahmebehälters mit partikelförmigem Brennmaterial in den Kerzenaufnahmebehälter eingesetzt. Danach wird das Dochtsetzerrohr bei mit Brennmaterial gefülltem Kerzenaufnahmebehälter von dem Docht abgezogen, wonach die Kerze ohne weitere Schritte abgebrannt werden kann. <IMAGE>
