A roadside crash barrier has a series of two-part upright sheet metal posts (1) linked by a horizontal deflection plank (5, 26). Each post consists of a first upright member (2) terminating at the base in an L-shaped flange (10) with anchorage bolts (12). The post top is supported by a second angled member (3) terminating at the base in an L-shaped flange with anchorage bolts (12).

Ein Leitplanken-Pfosten (1) besteht aus einer Front-Stütze (2) und einer hinteren Schräg-Stütze (3). Die Front-Stütze (2) weist eine im Wesentlichen vorsprungfreie Vorderseite (4), eine zu ihrer Rückseite (6) hin abgebogene Fußplatte (10) und in ihrem oberen Bereich Einrichtungen zur Befestigung einer Leitplanke (5) auf. Die hintere Schräg-Stütze (3) weist einen oberen, an der Rückseite (6) der Front-Stütze (2) anliegenden Verbindungs-Abschnitt (14), einen relativ zur Front-Stütze (2) nach hinten und unten verlaufenden Stütz-Abschnitt (16) und einen unteren Fuß-Abschnitt (17) auf. <IMAGE>
