Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1521053A1] The projectile (1) has a penetrating body (6) with an inner cavity (7) closed by a base (8), the cavity containing at least one sub-munition (31) with an explosive or incendiary charge and ejectors (9, 13) for both the sub-munition and base. The sub-munition and ejectors are isolated from the inner walls of the cavity by a shock absorber (19), e.g. in a number of sections.
