Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1521140A2] The mechanical clock has a balance wheel (1) and a spiral spring (3) controlling its oscillation. The balance wheel pivots on a cylindrical member (5) with an arm (6) pressed against a fine adjustment screw (10) by a spring (8). The outer end of the spiral spring is held in a clamp (16) with a spring (25) and inner (17) and outer (20) clamping jaws.
