[origin: WO2004008010A1] The invention relates to a pressure-relief valve comprising a closing element (4), which can be displaced axially in an opening direction (3) in a bore, against the force of a closing spring (13) that acts in a closing direction (26). The inventive valve is characterised in that when the pressure-relief valve is closed, the closing element (4) lies against a valve seat (5), closing an inlet (7) and that a piston (8), which is connected to the closing element (4) by means of a connecting element (9) and which can be displaced axially in the inlet (7), is integrated into the inlet (7).
