[origin: WO2004005791A3] The invention concerns a cryogenic fluid tank (1) connected to an installation consuming said fluid, containing, under a storage pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, a cryogenic fluid in liquid phase at the bottom of the tank and in gas phase at the top of the tank. The tank (1) is adapted both to feed the consuming installation (2) with liquid drawn from the tank bottom, and to be supplied with fluid from outside. The method for ensuring pressure regulation of the tank (1) consists in varying the pressure at the tank top on the basis of the operating status of said tank. The invention is applicable to liquid nitrogen storage.
