The housing section of a household device such as a dishwasher, a refrigerator or a freezer, a washing machine or a laundry drier incorporates a preferably load-carrying constituent consisting of a foamed duroplastic material, in particular, polyurethane foam. Independent claims are also included for: (A) a housing with the proposed section for a household device; (B) a household device with such a housing.

Es wird ein Gehäuseteil für ein Haushaltsgerät, vorzugsweise einen Geschirrspüler, ein Kühl- bzw. Gefriergerät, eine Waschmaschine oder ein Wäschetrockner vorgeschlagen, wobei ein vorzugsweise tragender Bestandteil des Gehäuseteils aus aufgeschäumtem duroplastischem Kunststoff, insbesondere aus Polyurethan-Integralschaum, besteht. Insbesondere betrifft die Erfindung eine Tür bzw. einen Deckel eines Haushaltsgeräts. <IMAGE>
