[origin: EP1522662A1] The antipanic pushbar for mortice locks comprises a lock plug (6) fixed in rotation with the spindle of said pushbar, and a first and respectively second actuator element (11,13) of the lock plug (6) fixed in rotation with the pushbar and engaged against a first and respectively second strike plate (8,7) of the lock plug (6) with a first and relatively second force of rotation in the same direction and applied on the opposite side in relation to the hinge pin (12) of the pushbar in a manner so that it generates a first and respectively second same rotation moment adapted to rotate the lock plug (6) from the lock closed position to open position. <IMAGE>
