[origin: WO2004007847A1] The invention relates to an expansion frame for shoring plates (6, 7) comprising: a) two interspaced columns (2, 3) which are vertical during normal use, and; b) two braces (4, 5), which are arranged one above the other in an interspaced manner and which hold the columns (2, 3) apart. The end areas (9, 10) of the braces (4, 5) are pivotally mounted via axle journals (11) on the columns (2, 3) inside bearing shells (12, 13) that are open on one side. The aim of the invention is to create an expansion frame for shoring plates that can be disassembled and assembled with little effort. To this end: a) the bearing shells (12, 13), when the columns (2, 3) are in a position of normal use, are open at the top, and; b) securing parts (14), which can be easily attached to and easily removed from the columns (2, 3) and which overlap the braces (4, 5) or parts thereof, are placed above the bearing shells (12, 13).
