Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03094299A1] The invention relates to a plug connector, comprising a plug and a mating connector, whereby plug and mating connector each comprise a housing in which contact elements to create the electrical plug connection and to conduct high currents and voltages are arranged and guide elements are arranged on the housing for exact guiding of the plug. According to the invention, the guide elements are embodied as electrical contact elements (9, 10), said electrical contact elements (9, 10) being used for example for transmission of data streams as currents in the low voltage range.
