[origin: EP1524017A1] Crash barrier holder for a piece of a toy car racetrack, especially a track-guided toy car racetrack, comprises a first fixing section (10) for fixing a crash barrier to the crash barrier holder and a second fixing section (12) for fixing the crash barrier holder to the track. The second fixing section has at least one elastic catch part (18, 20) with a manual actuating element (22). In a locking position the catch part locks the second fixing part on an edge region of the track. The catch part is designed so that when it is deflected from the locking position a restoring force acts on it into the locking position. The actuating element is designed and arranged so that when it is actuated the catch part is moved against the restoring force into an unlocking position in which the contact between the second fixing section and the edge region of the track is broken to release the crash barrier holder from the track.
