Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1524082A1] The device (2) has a tool holder (6) for insertable tools, especially bits, with a securing device with a securing element with which an inserted tool or tool holding arrangement can be secured against unintentional release. The tool holding device has a sleeve mounted on the leading end of a drive spindle (4) so as to be rotationally fixed to it but with limited axial movement for releasing securing device.
