[origin: EP1524103A2] Closing station for closing a glue flap (3) and a closing flap (4) arranged on one side of an open folding box (2) comprises elements for folding and applying glue onto the glue flap and elements for folding and pressing the closing flap onto the glue flap. The elements for folding and pressing the closing flap onto the glue flap consist of a closing lever (5) whose free end (6) that comes into contact with the closing flap can be adjusted between an upper point and a lower point between which the free end runs on a trajectory corresponding to a sinusoidal curve between 0 and 90[deg]. Preferred Features: The free end is rounded. The width of the free end corresponds to the width of the closing flap.
