[origin: EP1524738A1] The carbon brush guide (5) is made of aluminium which is covered with an insulating aluminium oxide layer (6,7) at least on the side facing the multi-layer carbon brush (1), e.g. an artificially produced eloxal layer with a thickness of between 5 and 30 microns, used for absorption of heat radiation.
