[origin: WO2004017783A1] The invention relates to an umbrella frame for removable connection to an umbrella stick (1), consisting of a radial umbrella structure, configured from umbrella spokes (2) and supporting a fabric covering, said umbrella spokes (2) being interconnected in an articulated manner in the vicinity of the umbrella crown (3) and being displaceable by means of supporting spokes (4), one end of which is connected in an articulated manner to the umbrella spokes (2) and the other end of which is connected in the same manner to an axially displaceable sliding collar (5) on the umbrella stick (1). The umbrella crown (3) is configured by a sleeve part (6), which can be fixed in an axial direction on the umbrella stick (1) and carries a fixing member (7) that protrudes radially on the side facing the sliding collar (5), said member engaging in a detent recess (8) of the sliding collar (5) in the open position of the umbrella structure. The detent recess (8) is configured as part of a slide channel, which is open on the edge of the sliding collar (5) that faces towards the umbrella crown (3) and curves back on itself in the vicinity of the closed end, thus forming the detent recess (8). The slide channel runs obliquely to the axis of the umbrella stick (1) between the edge of the sliding collar (5) and the detent recess (8).
