Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004013436A2] The invention relates to an anti-theft device (1) for articles provided with at least one substantially cylindrical end or section, i.e. an alcohol bottle, tennis racket, fishing rod or golf club. The inventive device comprises a body which is fixed to the cylindrical end of the article and provided with a plurality of elements (4, 5, 6) embodied in such away that the shape thereof enables them to encompass the circumference of the said end. Said body comprises at least one sliding means for sliding motion of at least one part of said elements (4, 5, 6) arranged one inside the other, in such a way that they are adaptable to all sizes and shapes of cylindrical ends by a simple pressure performed on at least one part of said elements (4, 5, 6) in order to bring them against the walls of the end.
