Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004009927A1] The invention relates to an insulating layer consisting of mineral fibres, and a building wall comprising a supporting framework consisting of at least two interspaced, preferably perpendicularly oriented posts, especially in the form of C, U, W or ohm-shaped profiled metal parts, a lining on at least one side, preferably in the form of gypsum plasterboard and/or gypsum fibreboard, and heat and/or sound insulation consisting of an insulating layer. The aim of the invention is to develop an insulating layer and a building wall in such a way that the construction thereof, especially the assembly, is essentially simplified and accelerated such that a cost-effective assembly can be achieved with insulation results which are at least as good. To this end, the mineral fibre body (10) consists of at least two layers (11, 12) which are arranged in the form of a sandwich and have a different apparent density and/or dynamic rigidity.
