[origin: WO2004013966A1] The invention relates to a sensor device comprising a first capacitor (C2), which has a first electrically conductive surface (12.1), a second electrically conductive surface (11) and a dielectric layer (13). Said device is provided with an electrically conductive absorption surface (12.2), which is connected in a conductive manner to the first electrically conductive surface (12.1) of the first capacitor (C2) and which optionally sits on an insulating layer, located on a first face of the absorption surface (12.2). An alternating current generator (G) couples an alternating current signal (s1(t)) into the absorption surface (12.2) and a sensor amplifier (A) amplifies an output signal (s2(t)), which can be picked up on the second electrically conductive surface (11) of the first capacitor (C2). The sensor device is designed in such a way that the absorption surface (12.2) forms an additional capacitor (C3), the actual capacitance of which can be altered, if an object (18) is displaced or present. The output signal (s2(t)) is subjected to a detectable attenuation by means of said actual capacitance.
