The elevator on the surface of a roll (02) has one or more elastic and/or compressible layers (06) with a radial elasticity module of less than 50 N/mm2> and with surface pressure (P) dependent on the printing pressure (S). This layer is arranged so that the pressure dependence has a rise of less than 500 (N/cm2>)/mm.

Ein Aufzug auf einer Mantelfläche einer Walze, z. B. einer Walze eines Druckwerks, weist eine oder mehrere elastisch und/oder kompressibel wirksame Schichten mit einem Elastizitätsmodul in radialer Richtung der Walze von weniger als 50 N/mm<2> und mit einer vom Grad einer Eindrückung abhängigen Flächenpressung auf. Die Schicht ist derart beschaffen, dass eine Abhängigkeit der Flächenpressung von der Eindrückung zumindest bereichsweise eine Steigung von weniger als 500 (N/cm<2>)/mm aufweist.
