[origin: EP1526108A1] The cable guide (4) for a drag cable (3), on a winch and especially for a rescue vehicle, has a window (5) as a funnel (6) for the cable to pass through. The guide assembly, with a mounting (10), is a component group to be secured to the vehicle structure (9) as a replaceable unit. The mounting is secured by two bolt fasteners (30,31), passing through towing eyelets.
