[origin: EP1526335A2] Hob (1), especially a glass ceramic hob, comprises a hob plate (3), especially a glass ceramic hob plate, a casing (5) containing mounting parts, and connecting elements for connecting the hob plate to the casing. A number of first guide and support elements (7) fixed near the edge of the hob plate each define a fixed support for the casing. A number of second guide and support elements (9) fixed near the edge of the hob plate have a locking element (9.3) for removably locking the casing to the hob plate and at the same time defining a movable support for the casing. Preferred Features: The first and second guide and support elements are glued onto the hob plate.
