[origin: DE10235936A1] In a textile spinning assembly the line of overhead spinning jets and the draw-down galette are transverse to the line of winding stations and are located close to the winder end-face. A textile machine simultaneously spins and winds a number of synthetic threads onto spools. The assembly has spinning stations positioned over a draw-down galette, and a winding unit with a number of winding stations along a common straight line. The spinning jets are located side-by-side and each thread is wound onto a spool. The spinning jet line and the draw-down galette are transverse to the line of winding stations and located close to the winder end-face. Distribution of threads takes place through a transverse plane.
